Our family loved every minute of our stay at the Union City Beach House.  The house sits right on the water and has an incredible view.  At high tide, when you look out the windows, you feel like you are on a boat!  This is a great location right on a private shellfish beach and is just a short walk to town.  We were surprised by the private setting (secluded, with no nearby neighbors!)  Everything was perfect and we will return!  -  Tammy and Mike

Traveling times/distance to Union,  Washington:

Sea - Tac               74 miles  / 1hr, 20 minutes
Seattle/Bellevue    85 miles  / 1hr, 35  minutes
Tacoma                 52  miles / 1 hour, 10  minutes
Olympia                 35 miles  /  40  minutes
Portland                146 miles / 2hrs, 30 minutes

Directions to Union City Beach House

Driving from Seattle & Sea-Tac Airport or Tacoma
Follow I-5 South to Tacoma.  Just past the Tacoma Dome, exit at exit #132 onto Highway 16 to Bremerton.  Go over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and continue past Gig Harbor and Port Orchard.  Be in the left lane and exit onto Hwy 3 to Belfair & Shelton.  Continue on Highway 3 past the Bremerton National Airport and through Belfair.  Just past Belfair veer right at the exit onto State Route 106 and go 15 miles.   At 15 miles you reach the Hood Canal Marina on the right and the Union Country Store on the left.  The Union City Beach house is 1/2 mile further on the right side (water side) of State Route 106.

Ferry and Drive from Seattle:
Board the Bremerton Ferry in downtown Seattle.  From the Bremerton ferry dock travel straight.  You are on Burwell Street/West SR 304.  At the light where Callow Ave and West SR 304 intersect, turn left.  Continue on West SR 304 past the Puget Sound Naval Station (on the left) until you reach the Highway 3 exit (exit sign will direct you towards Belfair/Shelton).  Continue on Hwy 3 past the Bremerton National Airport and through Belfair.  Just past Belfair, veer right at the exit onto Hwy 106 West.  At 15 miles you will reach the Hood Canal Marina on the right and the Union Country Store on the left.  The Union City Beach House is another 1/2 mile on the right (water side of HWY 106)

Driving from Portland/Olympia:
From I-5 take exit 104 West to Shelton and Highway 101.  Continue West on Hwy 101 past Shelton and toward Hoodsport.  Exit to the right onto State Route 106 and go 5 miles.  The Union City Beach house is on the left (water side of State Route 106).  Another 1/2 mile down to the right is the Union Country Store and the Hood Canal Marina on the left.
